CM Electric was started in 1992 with the idea of serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers with affordable, prompt, and professional service. During the course of our years in business we have served residential customers by providing them with expert service technicians; making home repair and maintenance available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also provide expert technicians for our commercial businesses and industrial clients to assist with design-build, plant relocation, and 24 hour service along with backup power system modernization.
Owner Charles Yurgelevic began his electrical career in 1985 in Southern California. In 1992, he obtained his California electrical contractor’s license in addition to class A, B, and C licenses and founded CM Electric. Shortly thereafter, he began working for the Chevron, Shell, Union Oil, and other petroleum companies as a minority contractor performing EPA and double wall piping upgrades at existing retail gas stations throughout California. In addition to this, he worked for Fortune 100 companies to facilitate expansion plans and existing plant relocations. After moving to El Dorado County in 2001 he began to earn his reputation as the premier electrical service provider for both commercial and residential customers alike.
Charles brings over 30 years of experience in electrical contracting, mechanical engineering and general construction. He and his staff of highly qualified electricians dedicate themselves to their customers no matter the project size. They put their customers first and are there every step of the way to educate and service any type of electrical problems.
